Ewa K. Czaczkowska: You were a member of the team that performed the autopsy on Father Jerzy Popiełuszko. That was 40 years ago. Why did you decide to speak out publicly only now?
Dr Tadeusz Jóźwik: Over the years, I have been closely following what is written about the murder of Father Jerzy Popiełuszko in the press and in books. I knew that I had knowledge and materials that could explain many of the things raised in these publications, due to my decades of experience as a forensic physician, and above all as the person who performed the autopsy on the priest.
